Exactly. Parents have highly expectation of their kids, but they never understand what level their kids are on.

I can't forget what happened at my first class of teaching English in here. Some of the students jumped around, and I couldn't talk. I was shocked. But they are getting better after few classes I taught them. I am glad.

how did u get the job for teaching? did u apply around schools? im also in uni 2nd year in the uk. but have family in hong kong i speak fluent english and basic chinese. how much would you get paid? and is it possible to work more than just once a week i mean is that enough to support yourself? o and what months does schools close in hong kong? as i wnat to go over for the summer and i know schools close for june but i know hong kong have a short summer

I would rather teach in HK than the UK anytime...

If all else is equal, at least I am taller than most kids here so there is less potential for looming...
