Here's one...

I log in OK, write a reply and preview it (make sure the links work etc) but the system asks me the log in again?

happening sporadically, not sure if it is just the preview as I am sure it happened when I just did a standard submit reply once.

Bit frustrating cause it makes you lose your reply.

Will try and recreate.

I am using IE 6 on XP pro.

Update: seemed to work OK on this post so will carry on with afew others to try and break it again.

Chances are ... you might need to delete your cookies to solve the problem.

could be

but I had windows reinstalled a couple of weeks ago after my PC went bang and I have a feeling they all went then anyway as all my passwords were lost.

anyway, have managed to recreate and it seems to be if I spend too long writing a post, once I submit I have to re logon.

Is there an autosignoff in effect if a session is idle for a set amount of time?

did you succeed yet. It is still happening - I blame my one fingered typing as I am so slow, but if I take more than say 10 mins composing a reply, I do need to login again. weird. maybe computers just hate me, thats one of the reasons I quit IT in the first place

Not been able to reproduce this problem on the three computers we have @ work ... with various browser combinations.

Has anyone else had this problem?

It's happened to me twice in the past week on Firefox... logging out and back in cures it.
