| I can say healthcare worker have the highest salary long time ago, particularly in government setting. and depends on what kind of healthcare profession that you ask!! The entry for dentist/physician/allied-health in government/NGO e.g. DH or HA is called Dental Officer (DO)/Medical Officer (MO), DO/MO have a good pay of salary scale with allowances and stability, but not now, so forget it! If you are new entry, the term usually in a contract base renewable in one or three year(s) period with some gratuity. If you are dentist, mostly go to private in practice, since all the DO post has been filled and not accepting permanent staff. In the private practice, year of experience is the main cancern in relation to salary, starting for green may around 15K-20K and increase with your skill and experiences. so be patient. You may also need to pay for the medical insurance (professional) with a high loading recently due to lots of dentist found mal-practice. Cheers, Kelvin!! |
