| The whole of North India has "Chainese" stalls .. all in red .. and some with a dragon painted beside the name .. They all serve what we called -- Punjabi chinese .. maybe they add garam masala Yes my good old Calcutta can boast of the only Chinatown in India which is now called TANGRA .. Most of them speak Hakka ... and thats how there is a dish called Hakka Chowmein ( which is essentially, steamed noodles with a dash of oil) and lotsa veggies... maybe this is Bengali chinese ... I can go on and on ... I happened to have classmates from Tangra. Most of them are now in Australia or Canada and can speak fluent Bengali Gobi Manchurian any1 ?? |

| I had some of that yummy goodness on my last trip back home in Toronto. My good friend who is Indian insisted on taking me to this indian-chinese place and I must say, I was quite skeptical. But after a couple of bites... Indian food and Chinese food just deserves each other. I am sold for life. If anyone finds a good one in HK, let me know. |
