May I know does anyone ever Roam to Japan and Korea with "Three Mobile" be it on "Dualband" or "Triband"? I heard that if you have Dualband, you may not able to roam in these countries?

You can only roam to Japan or Korea if you have a 3G phone (not dual, triple or quad band). And I'm not 100% sure even that will work in Korea.

So those without 3G is rather useless in those countries..
Anyone has experience bringing the phones to these countries?

Most of the mobile companies here have a service where they will lend you a handset that will work in Japan or Korea and set up the call forwarding etc so that you can continue to receive calls. How mcuh this costs depends on the type of agreement you have with them. Alternatively you can easily rent phones on arrival at the airports there.
