I was served by someone called 'Hobby' and her friend 'Empty' at a shop last week.

Can anyone top that?

but it also reminds me of someone I met once called 'Milk'

and others I heard of (but never met in person) - Pinky, Bronson, and someone called Fanny Pong???? (that last one may be an urban myth)

Last week I was served by a "Shadow" at my bank.
"But" assisted my wife with problems on our washing machine.

In China my dishes were served by "Internet", our freight forwarder has an account manager called "Toast"!

We came across Tongue, Pubic, Circumference, Dragon, Windy, Cloudy, Sermon, Milo, ...and the list goes on.

I also went on the free Wing Wah cake making course

that you can book via the tourist board.

The head chef was called 'Cactus', but after reading that list it sort of loses its edge.

I am wondering if any western/non-chinese out there have been given Chinses names that sound stupid to Chinese people? I am sure it must happen as well.

Keep them coming these are excellent. When this thread is done I intend to publish them all in a book aimed at locals called - "Pick a name in English". Could be a best seller?
