| | | Pet Supplies in Taikoo/Quarry Bay Does anybody know of a supply store in the area? Wellcome and other stores sell pedigree and alpo, but I am looking for Iams or Science Diet. I know where to get it in HV or Midlevels, but I don't want to go that far if I don't have to.
Thanks | |

| | | the problem is that taikoo bans dogs, so there might not be any shops there.
there is one or two pet shops at lei-keng-wan area, 1 station after taikoo (sai wan ho).. not sure if they have what you want though

I guess it's fine as long as we stay out on the sidewalks? We sure get some dirty looks though. It's amazing how many people are afraid of our 25 pound dog.
Thanks for your help. I'll check out around sai wan ho.

| | | u have to be careful with the management contract.
i had friends that were sued by the taikoo management for having dog in their apartment.
if u are not in one of the taikoo block then it is ok i suppose.

| | | We are seperate from Taikoo (luckily). We looked around quite a bit for a place that was good w/ dogs and ours is. We had no idea the whole cityplaza/taikoo complex frowned on dogs though.
So this is the confusing part to me. Does Taikoo only refer to the big apartment complex or is the whole area considered Taikoo? or Quarry Bay?

| | | taikoo city is the big apartment complex that was developed by this company call taikoo.. which i believe was previously involved in the sugar trade (u can still see taikoo sugar sold in the supermarts).
anyway, they did it in such a grand way that by the time HK decided to build MTR, the station has to be named taikoo.
and of cos, if u develop the place, u name it as u want.
so taikoo is both the apartment compound, as well as the area...

| | | Hi Smelly,
Hope this information will help you out. There is a shop called RED CARROT inside/on the GF of Jusco dept., store near Kornhill garden. It is not a big store but they do have many/diff. goods for dogs, cats & rabits. They have foods, toys, health care stuffs... go & check it out.
