| Is the 7 yrs the absolute minimum to get HK PR I am chinese citizen currently in US (with no US residency). Is it true that 7 yrs is absolutely required to get Permanent residency? - I have no ties with HK. - Is there any special rules (like in US, there are special rules such as outstanding professor/national interest waiver). I fear it might be quite problematic to travel to US/Europe if I work in HK with only a Chinese passsport. And it seems unbearable to wait for 7 yrs to get HK PR. Many thanks! |

| Do you mean PRC passport? Does not matter if you're working in HK or the US or in Antigua .. the requirements for PRC passports are the same. |
