| Perfect Malaysian Destination We're going to Malaysia for one week in mid October with our kids (1 & 3). I can't decide on a location. We are looking for somewhere pretty low key for a beach holiday where the kids can build sandcastles and explore tide pools. I'd love to have an interesting village or market to explore somewhere nearby. We'd also like to do some kind of a jungle afternoon, elephant ride, natural mud bath type of thing with the kids. I'd love to stay somewhere with a kind of rustic, grass hut feel to it (on the inexpensive side). Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks! |

| Go to Redang Island. My favourite spot in Malaysia. Catch a flight to KL and then a flight to Trengganu, the east coast of Malaysia and then a ferry there. Think you can catch a flight there too from KL. The beaches are absolutely beautiful there and your kids willl love it too. You can swim out to about 100 metres and see corals and fishes. A real beautiful place! Very quiet and peaceful. There's also a spa there. |
