Mpf My employer forgot to deduct my MPF contribution from my salary in my second month here (they actually forgot to pay MPF at all that month). Now they are asking me for the money back. Am I liable or as its their mistake are they liable for it. Couldnt find answer at Mpf info website, in other words should I pay them back. Thanks Tower

I dont think you should pay it. Anyway, if you dont pay it now, they'll probably deduct it twice in your next months pay.

at the end of the day its your money. somewhat like a compulsory pension savings. so if its your liability then just pay up for it. why u want to spoil the r/ship with your employer just over an honest mistake. i don't understand this mentality

mpf Actually my boss tends to agree with me, but it is the accountant that is forcing the issue. So no relationship spoiling going on.
