If you buy things from 7-11, why not use octopus card?

In Denmark I would go directly to my coin counting machine at the bank and 30 seconds later I will have a note with the full amount ready to be cashed at the counter.

Now I am asking can I find something similar in Hong Kong so I dont have to do it manually?

Why not pay future purchases at 7-11 in coins; I use mine for bus trips, newspaper purchases, buying stamps at post office vending machines and: Park N Shop; they seem to like coins. Must admit though, that I never paid more than $50 in coins at a given time.
