Have you already checked out Quarterdeck in TST near Star ferry pier?
I am thinking of going there and booked a table, but the staff there said that I have to make a reservation 2 weeks in advance!!
I dont mind getting a table more to the insiede but of course it would be nice if I can get a window seat.

If you already been there can you tell me what its like, and want to know about food, atmosphere... etcetc?
Can we get a view even not a window seat?

i din quite like the food. the staff were rather frenly though...

You do not get much of a view if you are not by the window, and if you are seated towards the mall side it can be really noisy from the passers by. The food is ok, nothing to jump up and down, just your regular bar food.
Been there done that, but got lucky to get a window side table.

I guess the 2 week or reservation is only for the Oct 1 / 2 fireworks display. Else that place is just like another bar. If u get a window, the view is nice, thats all. Food--> no great shake

Habitu The Pier in TST. Walk from the Star ferry towards Harbour City. At the left hand side of the stairs to Harbour City is a restaurant with an outdoor terrace.

Thanks all, I made a mistake... 'reservation to get a window seats 2 weeks advance' then they can gurantee that you can get a window seat. I didnt mean reservation for the seat not by the window... sorry!

I think I will try that one anyway, as one of my friends said that the atomosphere and food in the one in Wanchai is quite good. And the price is reasonable

It seems the staff and the manager are also friendly, so its not a bad idea for drinks obviously. Anyway its always nice to try new places so I will give it a shot!

Yes Habitu is good, I have been to the one in CWB, the food was Italian based things, I choose appetizer buffet with a main dish and it was quite good! They have got such cozy seats that I stayed for nearly 4 hours!!!
