Any place to buy Halloween Candy?

Just curious if anyone has seen a place that imports Halloween candy from the US. Looked around at Olivers and City Super and did not see anything.

Thanks!

Some place in Central, or Causeway Bay would be best.

csinc,

It's still a bit early but ParknShop/Wellcome will sell some candy, like lollipops/marshmellows/chocolate. The real US candy will be at Olivers.

and you can get it at Gateway year round (i buy the chocolate bars from canada!)...

it's still REALLY early for it here. there's not much storage space in most Park'n'shops... wait until the first week of October.. then you should be able to find it at most of the big p'n's and olivers.

How big is Halloween in HK? It is now the second biggest holiday in the US (I imagine that is being expressed in terms of $$$ spent). (Good thing Halloween became big in the US, otherwise Christmas sales would start in August.)

it depends on where you live. some places like discovery bay, it's huge... others there's nothing.
even within Db there are only a few streets taht do it. but, boy are they busy! iknow some peopel who spend $3000 on candy and it is gone in 1 hour!

I am thinking it will be a non-event in the NT which is where we will be living.
Do any of the malls have Halloween for youngsters? They do that here in the US to prevent any mischief with candy and strangers on Halloween night.

Strange thing is it didn't really become big in the US until maybe 10-15 years ago. Previous to that it was something kids did for a night. Now there are stores and catalogs dedicated to the adult Halloween party. You could decorate your house for Halloween much the same way people do for Christmas and spend as much money as you wanted doing it.
