| Time to process dependant visa of HK local spouse Hi, Just wondering how long this takes. I know normal visa take 6-8 weeks, but this is a much more straight forward process not? Thanks for any views or testimonies from people who have done this visa application before.  |

| You need a visa for a HK local spouse? Or do you rather mean a HK visa for your oversaes spouse? The dependant visa for my wife took 3 days only. In fact the processing took 3 days, but to get all the necessary papers together beforehand took a while longer...  |

| yes...it took 5 working days after i filed for a dependant visa for my wife. She was here on a visit visa. On expiry of the visit visa, I asked them for an extension till the time dependant visa gets processed, but to my surprise they gave the dependants visa right there. |
