Just an observation for those of you that are price-sensitive... both the ferry to Mui Wo and the bus from there to the Buddha are about 50% more expensive on Sundays (& PHs) than on other days.

So how's the best way to get there from Central?

I believe the argument is that it is OK for leisure travel (which is what the vast bulk of Sunday travel is assumed to be) can subsidise commuting. Pretty much all ferries and "tourist route" busses have higher fares on Sundays and PHs.

Sunday works for me. I don't really mind the extra $40 or whatever ...you can't even get a drink in LKF for that (unless you're at Ha Ha).
