Get Qualifications from Philippines translated Dear all I encountered an enquiry and I wonder if you could advise me on it. Is there any place in HK which offers such official translation? The Consulate said they did not offer official translation. Your reply would be much appreciated, many thanks! Cheers Blom

Littleblom -- do you have an official document written in Filipino that you want to have translated into English? If so, what kind of a document is this (school transcript, diploma, etc)? :-Dona

Hey Wing! I haven't seen YOU in a loooong time! :-) Diploma and school transcripts have to be translated by the school/university itself, for it to be considered an official translation. Nowadays, universities in the Philippines provide this service to their alumni, as there's a GREAT demand for it. Your friend has to contact the registrar's office, and ask for the details. Or, if the school has a website (which doesn't??), check it there first. Of course, there are fees (and since it's in great demand, it's quite steep); and a waiting time of no less than 2 weeks. Hope this helps. Do update me of what eventually happens, ok? And hope to see you again .. soon! :-)
