What kind of plug is this? Hello! Can anyone tell me what kind of cables work with this outlet? We have these in most of the rooms in our flat and would love to use them. To give you an idea of the scale, i tried to plug a composite (RCA) cable into it and it was too big. Thanks in advance. http://img165.imageshack.us/my.php?i...1mediumjz3.jpg

Those are the jacks for TV and FM out..hehe. I don't know what the cables are called, but you can get them virtually anywhere....They're usually white. Sorry I can't be of more help.

That is a standard 75 ohm RF socket. http://www.geocities.com/columbiaisa...hm_coaxial.jpg Will do .. you should be able to get a fairly low priced cable from places like Japan Home Center or any audio video shop.

Thanks for the quick replies. Also wondering why there are 2 different sockets. Is one for audio and the other for video? I'm just use to a single coax connection to carry both signals. Now i just need to get some cables to see if they are actually working Last edited by MMP; 18-09-2006 at 11:17 PM. Reason: To add another question

TV goes into your TV and FM goes into your FM tuner, or radio.

In theory there should be two aerial masts on the roof of your building. The masts work best when they are aligned towards the signal source and FM masts need to be more sensitive. In practice the two sockets may be wired to the same backbone - we'll never know!
