B.C. Style Smoked Salmon?

Ok, I'm having a major craving and need some help. When visiting British Columbia a few years ago, I had some smoked salmon that was to die for. It was 'hot smoked' in a small smoker. Not at all like the 'raw' stuff you see over here, this one looked cooked, chunked and had a very intense smokey taste... very yummy! Does anyone know where I could find that in HK?

yeah, its good stuff. My grandfather actually smoked some salmon that he caught in an old foot locker (sounds disgusting!). Is the one you're referring to from IGA in a can?
Gotta find it!

what happened was i had a taste test in the food festival of some sort a few years ago and i didnt buy any on the spot but i took their card. i later called the company asking which supermarket carries their brand and they told me IGA only. so i went and found it, but they're on the expensive side i recall. they're chunky cooked salmon pieces right? i think there is only one.

I emailed the Seabear company in the USA and got this response... we may be in luck!

"Thanks for taking the time to email us - we can ship our Northwest Smoked Salmon to you in Hong Kong. Any of our smoked salmon that is non-perishable
and ships in the gold foil pouch should make it.
You can find a complete selection online here:
http://www.seabear.com/Catalog/Categ...ift+boxes.aspx

We can also ship our chowders and canned products, if you were interested in
any of those as well. To place an international order, you'd just need to
give us a call. All of our packages that go international have the shipping
charges based on weight, and they go via USPS Air Parcel Post.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with, and have
a good day."

Best Regards -
