Tickets

Hi Morgane,

One-way air fare will be more expensive than the return ticket and unless you have a resident visa for HK and not planing to go back for a more than a year, you will not be allowed to enter with a single journey ticket.

Thumbs up

I second that, morgane,...you won't be allowed to enter HK if you have a one-way ticket without a valid visa.

Two-way tickets are generally cheaper than one-way tickets (if you get one from a reputable airline, that is)...Why not enter HK on a tourist visa and spend the time looking for suitable job opportunities? If you find something you like and are comfortable with then ask them to sponsor you for a work visa.
