It would help if you could define "inexpensive"... to some people that's anything less than HK$1200 per night, to others it means HK$300.

inexpensive

In this case I'd say below 800 hkd, or something that has otherwise good value for the money
thanks,
anne

I am also looking for a cheap hotel in Hong Kong

I'm also in search of a cheap hotel room for two over the Christmas/New Year holiday. Something around 500hkd per night. We will need accomodations for 14 days approximately.

If thats your budget, Holiday Inn Golden Mile, Kowloon Hotel are on Nathan Rd in Tsim Sha Tsui, very near the MTR (Subway) station.
There is also Regal Kowloon, Royal Garden Hotel, in East tsim Sha tsui...
All very respectful hotels!!!!!

try the

dragon hostel. It usually comes with good recommendations. Not sure 500 bucks for a hotel is realistic. Hostels may be your only choice. SOme of the lower end 'hotels' are just hostels anyway. What's in a name?

Dorsett Seaview Hotel in Yaumatei (Shanghai Street) should be around HKD550.00/night.
