Someone's been doing their homework! The configurations are not identical. Apple's systems supports DL and has more video memory. Apple systems have a higher resale value, come with a suite of USEFUL applications and they look good. So, what are you saying ... Apple is or is not overpriced?

I don't think they're overpriced at all- I think you get what you pay for- just as you are when you buy a top specced Dell.
