Agent Recommendations Please!

Hey there. I'm trying to come up with a short list of good property agents in each of the areas where I'm interested in renting an apartment.

- fortress hill/tin hau
- causeway bay
- happy valley
- wanchai
- sheung wan, soho, midlevels

I'm looking for a relatively cheap apartment: 2br for no more than 12k/mo. Want a decent size place too.

Does anybody agents in these areas that they can recommend? 1 week until I come to Hong Kong!

Happy Valley - Speak to Valerie at Fortune Express - 94884999.

She is great...has loads of great value apartments. Not overpriced and good quality. She negotiated a month rent-free and a lower rent and we did not even ask. We have a 2 bedroom place with full view of the race course for 11.5k.

9 months after we moved in she is still really helpful. On Saturday she organised a handyman to come over to put up some shelves, picture etc.

The following realty agencies are the biggest companies in HK.
http://www.centanet.com/ehome.htm
http://www.midland.com.hk/eng/

I would recommend you to find the shop location that is close to yoru desired place to live, then visit to their shop directly. Try both of them because they may have different sources.
