Just moved to HK from OZ.Can anyone tell me where the best Pizza place is in HK.Don't if HK side or Kowlon.Will go a long way for a good pizza.

There's a good place on Mosque Street in the Mid-Levels called Pizzeria Italia. There's another excellent one up the steps next to Dragon I. Can't remember what the place is called.

How is Pizza Hut here? A few years back had their pizza and cust tasted like it was fried. Like milk bun taste but lightly fried or toasted Cantonese style. Was a little different and am wondering if they have changed the formulation?

These guys used to be in Lan Kwai Fong; then decided to chill out a bit further west in Gough Street.

The first time the urge hit after the move I had to direct the troops using YP Maps and cell phones, to find the joint and return with the 'grease wheels'

Egg on your pizza? Pizza Hut? Thats just wrong on so many levels!

I like Wildire, there is one in Soho, another in Stanley and other places. Al Dente has pretty good pizza too, also one in Soho and a new one in Wan Chai.

And can someone please explain to me why a 'large' pizza in HK is only the size of a North American medium?

Taste has ready made pizzas. Comes in a plain white box and is labled heavy pepporoni. About $80 HK or $10 USD. If you have a good oven might be worth a shot.

Pizza from Habitu in TST - very thin and crispy, sitting outside facing the HK side and with a beer or 2 .. excellent place to be! HK wise, Wanchai Devil's Advocate where it's $98 with 2 standard drinks and a starter every Mondays. Both good places to people watch.

all i can say is Pizza Express > Pizza Hut by a mile.
