| I know it's probably a stupid question..but I'm new to Hong Kong, so I though I'd ask it... There aren't any Deep Dish (i.e. Chicago Style Pizza's) here, like Lou Malnati's, or Pizzeria Uno/Due, heck even Giordanos?.... I'm afraid deep down I already knwo the answer...but I figured I'd try anyway. |

| Had the best pizza I've ever had in HK last night. Il Padrino in LKF makes an amazing margherita. Don't order the coffee there though, it sucks. |

| Hong Kong teaches you to cook the foods you love, properly :). I second the make your own pizza at home idea. Certainly helps if you have a proper gas fan forced oven, but if not, you can buy on the bench top style ovens, that will accept a 12 inch cake tin, and if it accepts a 12 inch cake tin you can bake a home made pizza in it. Below, some photos of my last pizza making exercises, using removable base cake tins http://www.geoexpat.com/photos/data/...m/P1150091.JPG http://www.geoexpat.com/photos/data/...m/P1150093.JPG http://www.geoexpat.com/photos/data/643/P1150096.JPG Wing On I am sure has the bench top electric ovens, TGC sells the gas fan forced ovens. | serendipity or what Skyhook! Just about the time you were tippy typing the previous post, I was on the phone to Atlanta and your culinary antics came up. I remembered that you had some contraption that used oxygen to char your breads etc and that you spent your day hauling sacks of flour to feed the beast. BUT! I could not remember who you were except that you lived in the boondocks. Spooky isn't it? Well now that I have found you I will be able to send your pics over as proof that pizza do not come from the another end of a phone. Or that one does not have to search for a Starbucks to get a java. |

| I've just discovered a new pizza place in Sheung Wan. I've forgotten the name of the place and address but it's near the International Park n Shop on Queen's Road Central. They do deliveries. They have US style pizza including Calzone. They even make a special filling one for me. |

| I've recently become a fan of California Pizza Kitchen ... very decent pizzas. And my son just loves it ... so its almost turned into a once or twice a month ritual for us.
