they seemed pretty strict with me... i guess it depends on the person interviewing you. wouldn't give me the license without proof.

I guess it also depends on whether the country whose licence you are using to get a HK licence is also the country of your birth/citizenship/etc.

surprisingly though, bangladesh is on the list of countries applicable to have a straight exchange... i was there a few months back and the drivers there can be quite... uhmmm... scary!
