If in doubt spell it out with all the zero's. Don't use the abbreviation.

Dude....a Billion has 9 zeros, a Trillion has 12.

max > what that guy said is correct. at one time under the brit system billion used to have 12 zeros. but i think conventionally that has been phased out. no way for me to prove that its definitely correct though
