Living in Pok Fu Lam

We are considering moving to Pok Fu Lam. Can anyone tell me how easy is it to get to Caine Road. My daughter goes to Woodlands Montessori. Also, how easy is it to get to Central and Admiralty areas ?

Whereabouts are you moving to? There are loads of buses on Pok Fu Lam Rd and quite a few go via Caine Rd. If you're on Victoria/Sassoon Rd, the Baguio Mini-buses 8 & 28 go to Central via Caine.

Pokfulam is great. I lived there for 4 months last fall at HKU. I dont know where Caine Road is, but buses 23 and 45 which I took all the time pass right by the Woodlands Montessori school, I remember seeing it, little place with a green sign right? Its really easy to get to Central and Admiralty with the buses and minibuses. Usually 10-20 minutes. Only unfortunate thing about Pokfulam is that you cannot walk to the MTR, well, you can, but that would be about a 25 minute walk to Sheung Wan. I did it sometimes when in no hurry. Its a nice walk on Queens Way Rd.

Cyberport and Bel Air

Does anyone know anything about the Bel-Air complex near Cyberport? Is it also easy to get to Central or Wan Chai from there via bus?

Our office is in Cyberport and its can be an absolute pain in the rear to get to Central and more so, to Wanchai. You're better of looking at Lower Baguio...

We did see a a Belair Clubhouse Shuttle recently that goes to Central. Would check with Management to see how frequent the buses are.

Smile Thank you

Thank you to those that sent useful input about Pok Fu Lam. We have heard there is a shuttle service from Residence Bel-Air, so this will probably be the main form of transport should we choose to live there.

Nancy, 12 minutes from Bel Air / Cyberport to Central? I have no doubts about Bagiou and the rest of PFL, but Bel Air?

Bagiou vs. Bel-Air

What bus runs through Bagiou? Do you know if this area is similar in price to Bel-Air and also offers apartments with sea views?
