Exclamation Football (or Soccer 4 some plp)

Ok guys.
I'm latin american and my blood starts boiling when I don't play soccer.
I've lost some training, and I need to get it back quick
Who plays soccer?
I would like to do a weekly match on sat, street style, 5 - 5.
We need someone that has a football
Everybody is invited. If needed, we can teach noobies (i'm no expert fyi)
So...who's in?
Giancarlo

Hi Giancarlo

I could be interested in that...but it doesn't look like you've had much response?

meemiathai has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Let me know when you guys are playing please. I will come if I am free.

I play soccer regularly but I prefer to play on grass(safer) so it's usually 11-11. But hard court is ok as long as they are not serious matches.

So you are talking about size 4 football, right?

Thanks,
Alan

I was thinking like about 5 against 5, kind a casual muck around social game. Good exercise, get hot and sweaty but no serious stuff like slide tackles or anything. Grass would be better but hard surface ok too, just I won't be hitting the deck!

Excuse my ignorance, what is size 4 football? I was thinking football as in round ball...I believe some heathens refer to it as "soccer" or some such...

I reckon there are more street football/futsal courts in HK, so it'll be easier to find a playing space as well as arranging a small no. of people to play. the normal sized football is a size 5. size 4 footballs are smaller, and are usually used by younger kids or on courts. i reckon there's no problem playing with a size 5 ball on a court (mine's a size 5). it's easier to control anyway.

anyway, i'm also looking for a good clean casual kick-around but mate, you're ozzie, you should be used to hard knocks and tackles! so i'm in and my younger bro too. just hope we get more people.

cheers guys!

I'd be up for a game too, the only football I have been involved in since getting here is watching it in a bar with beer in hand so I could do with a more healthier way of enjoying it
There are some good seven-a-side pitches up in Happy Valley, could see how much they are to hire...?
