No reasonable person would rent out their MBZ to a 24 year old from another country even if they too are an expat. No reasonable person who owns a MBZ would rent their vechicle period. Not trying to be nasty just logical.

As Asian1 so bluntly puts it, many car hire companies will only hire premium cars to drivers over 25... This is certainly true for Avis in HK (http://www.avis.com.hk ) for example. If you were 25 or over they would rent you a mini cooper convertible for HK$2760 for the weekend: http://www.avis.com.hk/local_rate.htm

for ur info, im just helping a friend,who's 28, look for a car to rent so im not renting it...checked out avis,but real pricey,i was looking for some local car rental companies,they tend to be cheaper...if anyone knows,let me know..my friend who's coming from the UK is arriving this thursday,and hopes to rent a car by the friday afternoon...tks anyway!
