honey is on a distinguished road
Dicesix,

My fave on stainless pots are WMF, i burnt it once as i forgot i'm cooking, i just soaked it with water, and the burnt goes off easily, looks new again. I'm so picky with my kitchen stuff. I don't like Tefal at all now, even how careful i am in using and washing it, the most that it stays is 1 year only. I like Circulon brand for my wok, hard anodized coated. Anyways, i should be having a long grilling pan this afternoon so we can heat up the bread there, i'll confirmed later once i have bought it.
I haven't tried Silit though.

Do we need one more ulam? i can still prepare, what do you want pa?

nope, there's usually no bagoong in tortang talong and i've never had a tortang talong with bagoong inside.

Hehe, why not? I'm starting to develop a sense of pride about this.

Honey, I like WMF, too. I just don't cook that much so it would be a shame having WMF pots and not using them. I'm often temped to import WMF stuff from Germany but then I would exceed the luggage weight limit. (German steel is good but heavy )

So the menu is:

Starters:
salad + bruschetta
Main/ Ulam:
Jollybee spaghetti, joy chicken, tortang talung
Dessert:
cake, another cake (maybe), mango pudding (or cake)

Now that looks good.

I'll see what I can buy as another dish in the restaurant near my flat. They have pretty interesting dishes. No eels, don't worry. Probably along the lines of fish and veggies.

Are we sure about the tortang talong? I miss it, and it's a comfort food for me, but I was just kidding about including it in our birthday feast. :-)

What time, by the way?
