Applying for chinese visa...

Hi eveyone,
I need to apply for a chinese visa. A friend(already left HK)of mine said that I could get a chinese visa in Mongkok. Can anyone please give me some info about of the place? Name of company? Contact details? Fees and charges? How do I get there? Thanks a lot. I appreciate your help.

lacrosse - Any travel agent will do that for you. Alternatively go to China Travel Service to apply directly. They have several offices in Hong Kong - just google for the nearest one.

or go to the china visa office yourself and pay a third of the price you would pay by getting a travel agent to do it.

apply in person and pick it up in 2-3 days time. it really takes no time at all. I paid $890 on a British Passport for 6 month multiple entry visa. It is $450 for a single entry visa.

Address...

china resources centre
harbour drive
wanchai

opening hours
9-12noon
2-5pm

Hey all,
Thanks for all the info. It sounds like it's not that hard or expensive to get a chinese visa.

Do you mean that US and UK passport holders have to pay extra for getting a visa?
