Hi

I am new to hong kong. Could any one please list the shops where i can buy indian provision. I went to Chun king building, but they have very limited items. Ponni rice is not there. Could any one direct me?

I know of two and they are both in Causeway Bay. The first is small, right around the corner from Times Square. Sorry I cant tell you the street. The other one is much better, more selection, fresh produce, and some nice sweet snacks. From Hennessy Road in Wan Chai, turn south onto Bowrington (which is one block over from the Canal Road flyover) there will be a lot of fresh produce and seafood stands. go all they way to the end, right before the dead end, and you will see the provision store on your left hand side.

they also deliver if purchase above certain amount
can get number from directory inquiry 1081 , dont have it to hand

Kiran's has very good service and a very large inventory/list of items.

For South Indian groceries, I have heard Maharaja is a good store, but I've never tried it out.

There is one store on Bowrington Road (Wan Chai) -- Indian Provision Stores. I would stay away from them. They have a terrible attitude and their service is worse.

Another one in that area (mentioned above, around the corner from Times Square) is Oriental Provision Stores.
