| Sad news indeed but I think he took too many risks.... Steve will be missed. |

| The nature of his job meant that it would eventually lead to his death. Went to Australia Zoo less than a year ago and, after seeing the size of the crocodiles he handled, thought it would be one of them that caught him cold one day. RIP Steve |

| It is indeed sad news. He's certainly educated millions of kids and adults alike the world over with his high energy and love of nature and has been vocal and influential in conservation issues in Aus. RIP |
