| The novelty of the mistakes students make has pretty much worn off for me. I don't even bat an eyelid anymore. I'm always interested in meeting other teachers though. Last edited by jayinhongkong; 01-09-2006 at 08:26 PM. |

| Students' mistakes are a source of delight for me. One guy recently said he didn't like Pattaya because prostitues were too expensive there (meant extensive). Gotta laugh. Quote:

| I had a student (year 1) that wanted to wash my hands. Had to repeat a few times, 'Do you want to wash my hands?' before he realised his mistake. |

| Maybe it was for real. One home visit I do the mother follows me into the bathroom on arrival to check that I am washing my hands properly before teaching her child. I often want to say "Do you want to wash my hands for me?" On wicked days I want to invent a cold and sneeze all over the girl just to see the mother's face... Quote:

| Haha...this is hilarious. Some of these people are a little too paranoid. Guess, sars must have had left an impact on hand washing..... |

| Wow, I must be teaching angels or something. My students are all great! I have had to deal with some unwanted advances from female students, but nothing too major. |
