Nokia E61 - first impression

OK, so not a proper review but a friend of mine lost his phone in a taxi (never to be seen again as per usual), ends up going to Mongkok and comes back with a new Nokia E61. So managed to have about an hour playing with it the other night, handing it back just before the battery ran out.

First impressions - Symbian OS is very quick on this phone, one area Nokia has addressed recently. Navigation of the main menus is very simple. The screen is clear and large enough to view small documents using the document viewer. Didn't get a chance to try the WLAN capabilities or internet - well not my phone bill! The phone is large, but slim. The keyboard is a full qwerty but does look crowded and it is very easy to press the wrong button. Overall feels quite solid. Can't make a comparison to the new SE M600 because I haven't tried one yet but it's clear that both Nokia and SE are aiming squarly at BB users with products that more regular phone users are used to.

Do you know if it works with a Mac? I just bought the M600i and it doesn't work with a Mac...

Rumours abound that the will be an update to iSync which wll include support for the M600 and P990. But they are just rumours. However if past support is to go by then I would imagine that the M600 will be supported soon enough.
