I need to find accommodation in Tai Po (or maybe Shatin) until I find an apartment. I'm looking for something as reasonable (cheap) as possible (Hopefully 500 HKD or less per night for 1 bedroom). Serviced apartment/ Budget hotel/ ?? . I've been unsuccessful at finding anything on the internet. Could anyone advise? Thanks

although it looks terribly ghetto, it is at a rate $420 per night for a one-bed room.

Another one to try, although a little further out, is Horizon Suite in Ma On Shan. Well withing your budget, I think, and the people I know who've used it have been happy.
