how to call collect from hong kong and china?
want to call canada collect, does anyone know what numbers to use or how to do this from hong kong as well as china?

interesting question! have never done it come to think of it! collect calls...those are great.

I knew how to do this through something that I think was called Canada Direct. Let me poke around my papers or google and get back to you.

OK got it. Toll free from HK 800-96-1100. Gets you to a Canadian operator who'll handle your collect call request (may need to wade through a few voice menus en route).
Canada Direct - calling collect

Access Numbers tab will get you the number to call from various locations including China. Should generally be toll-free, but check from the website.
