I'm very, very new to Hong Kong and would love to explore these places, but I'm scared to go alone....so let me know next time you're going and I'll meet up with you.

Hey! You're from Chicago? I used to go dancing in Chicago a lot at Green Dolphin, Rhumba and Latin Street, where did you go? I like that there are so many people interested here! The more the merrier and it's nice to go as a group so at least we know each other!

Good idea Marisposita. Somebody wanna pick a day? If there are beginners its probably best to go where you can take a free lesson. They do free lessons on a Sunday at Xperience, Wan Chai at 7.30 (I think - need to check) and a free lesson at C Club at 8 on a Tuesday. So I would suggest one of those. If anyone else knows of any free lessons, let me know!

Salsa - Tues 26th

Hey anyone,

I'm new to HK, haven't done Salsa before but I'm going to go and try the free classes at 8pm at C Club in LKF on Tuesday (26th). Would anyone like to meet up beforehand for a drink and chat somewhere in LKF? Say, between 6 & 7pm.
Anyone's welcome, just figure might be good to at least know a few people (well, names at least) as opposed to just going it alone

Cheers,

Ocean

P.S. For those hoping for a partner, I'm a guy.

what do you guys think would be the best night to go learn Salsa?

I have done basic salsa before, but I and two girlies, are thinking about heading out to Tribecca on wednesday night? Are the classes good? whats the crowd like?

we are all in early 20's so would it be an appropriate venue for us to venture to?

I love salsa though, i hope to get better at it!!

any input would be greatly appreciated

Smile Salsa again this Wednesday night?

Last week I went to Tribeca on Wednesday and it was fun. Not too crowded so you can really get your grove on or practice on your skills. There's a little after set at a club called 97 in LKF, nice way to end the night.

I'll probably go again this Wednesday, it breaks up the week and it's nice to hear some good music.

Hope to see some people there!
