I think it is more to do with the size of the portions as opposed to the taste.

Taste preferences are regional. Bad habits are also regional. I have to admit I drink too much soda, eat too many snacks, etc. Nevertheless I keep in shape. Seems to be regional even within the US.

sad so so sad. I just came back from Canada where I was hard pressed to find thin, sexy girls...so much flab! I don't remember it being like that before, or maybe I've just been spoiled living in asia.

Also extremely sad, yes I admit it, I went into a jiggly bar whilst home, and 2 of the strippers had guts and cottage cheese thighs/butts! What is the world coming to???

Too many people looking for the magic pill that allows them to eat like there is no tomorrow yet not gain weight. Some Americans drive their car to their mail box and think exercise is when you run to the bathroom or kitchen between TV shows.

Hong Kong is indeed catching up but even worse than HK is India these days with all the American chains opening up there. Several Indians I know blame it on Ghee but not the junk food

When I go to McDonalds I order 3 double cheesburgers and actually eat all three in one sitting or 2 Big Macs otherwise I feel like I'm still hungry. People there look at me like I'm crazy. The key is to excercise.
