thinking of going to austrailia via philippine airlines. anyone travel with this airline before? are their flights on time, what about on flight service?

Being late should be the least of your concerns regardless of carrier. I mean is 1/2 hour late that big of a deal? Table messed up but match the rows to columns.

Filipinos used to joke that PAL the abbreviation for Philipine Airlines actually stands for

But that was years ago. Don't know if PAL is still famous for their 2 hour delays.

of course being punctual matters of course safety is still most important though.

PAL delays HOURS, not minutes. I almost missed connecting flights because they're always delayed. I will only fly with them again if I get FREE tickets!

Flown with them to Brissie many times in the 90's.
The stews are really nice and the service great. Delays are no big deal.
