Can anyone recommend a repair shop for a 1970s Marantz receiver? Surely there are some independant repair shops who will repair old audio equipment that is no longer being made.

There is somewhere in Mongkok an underground arcade with lots of audiophile ships selling high end and antique equipment. I was there some years ago. Can anyone give me the address?

I think the place you're looking for is on Nelson Street. Leave MK MTR at exit E1 or E2 head along Nelson Street and look for steps down on the right before the street market that cuts the street. Alternatively, you could take it to Ap Lui Street.

Do you think one of these places could repair my headphones? One of the wire leads to one of the earphones is disconnected and needs to be soldered. I have no idea where to get them fixed...and I'm no soldering expert.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Soldering is fairly easy for what you've described. Soldering irons and solder can be bought for HKD25 in a couple of diy shops on Ap Lui Street.
