Cheaper alternative:

1. get a hair dryer

2. take your phone apart......I know on most Nokia's you can do this (especially while changing the covers).

3. use the hairdryer to dry the various parts (especially the central 'console').

4. set aside for a day or so.

5. put it together and try it out!

There are a couple of shops in Sheung Wan where I've bought and repaired phones.

Get off near Vicwood plaza (MTR exit) and walk across the street.

Yeah, I know its sketchy -- its late -- so PM me if you need more info.

Erm... and occasions. The odd Nokia can explode! Like have you seen the news? It's weird, like what's next?

A few weeks ago it also happened in Malaysia to someone asleep with the phone charging nearby. Burns needed treatment. Dodgy batteries? Also, better think twice about the hair dryer solution.
