I have several sites with GoDaddy.

Good service. Not noticed any downtime. Mail works fine.
Don't try getting a .fm with them though. Got there in the end, but was not easy. they .com .net .org were fast and easy to buy, set-up or transfer to them.

Much better than other hosters I have used.

They allow people in HK, UK and Thailand to host with them.
