Hi,

Can some one advise me how to get a multi-entry work visa and how much time will that take? I'm holding a Taiwan passport but I work for a US company that has a custmer in HK. The US company has no representative office in HK though.

I came to HK using a tourist visa under the impression that I can apply one in HK right away. But after speaking to some people I realize it is not that easy and I'm really concerned because my current visa will expire in 7 days.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

If you want to work in HK you need to apply for an Employment visa.
Go to www.immd.gov.hk and check what are their requirements.

I think the OP is asking about entry for business purposes, not about being employed in HK, so it is not the Employment Visa that is relevant.
