Following on from this thread Taking credit card payments online (ie Worldpay) - "Taking credit card payments online (ie Worldpay)": Would anyone care to comment on their experiences dealing with their credit card transactions processing vendors? So far it seems that the main players are: WorldPay.com/hk 2Checkout.com AsiaPay.com PaymentTech.com Authorize.net and they all have their different pricing schemes and pros and cons. I am looking to sign up with one of these firms - what should I pay attention to or be wary of? Any good (or bad) experiences dealing with these vendors? Your views would be much appreciated.

One thing that was critical for us was the commissions the companies charge. AsiaPay was expensive. Been using Worldpay since 2001 ... cant be bothered to move given that they had cut us a pretty sweet deal when we opened up and gave us a good combination of currencies.

Watch out for which currencies they are set up for... not a problem if you do everything in, say, USD, but if you want to seel stuff in Singapore in SGD, HK in HKD, Malaysia in MYR, Australia in AUD, etc. then some of these players may not have that capability in all the markets you want.
