Import Tax

Hi, I'm going to be moving to HK next week and I was wondering if HK has any import tax. There are some things that I'm going to be buying from the USA off the net, a mixture of electrical and medical etc.

Would be grateful if someone could gimme an idea of tax rates etc.

Thanks.

Tax is only on alcohol, tobacco and oil products.

But note for electrical devices that HK is 220V 50Hz, and for pharmaceutical that there are potentially licensing/approval issues.
