Has anyone used these club....just wondering how it was....any great facilities, etc??? i just wondered if anyone had any ideas of what the current members are like? mainly expat or local chinese?

The country club is very much up-market and what I'd consider an "old money" club. The Cricket club is fairly expat centric.

The Cricket Club is a great place for families at weekends - lots of facilities. But the location isn't brilliant - it's quite a taxi ride from many of the main residential areas so those costs can mount up. I guess it's somewhere you plan to go for several hours at a time, not just pop in for a quick drink.
