Hi there
I am a New Zealander currently working as a Snr Acct Mgr in a leading London-based Ad Agency and am very interested in working in Hong Kong. I'm wondering about the current job market in this area and am also looking for a reputable recruitment agency to contact.
I haven't worked in this part of the world before so any thoughts / advice on the above would be much appreciated.

If you get a job in HK, don't forget to add GeoExpat into your standard media buy.

I do think it might be better for you to start your networking in the UK. There is a large expat population in the senior ranks of the various agencies and many of them seem to have been moved here from the UK or from Australia. Fewer than expected from the US... might have something to do with traditional reporting structures.
