I'd change the word shoe with the word golden bunker. Government is spending your money (taxes) and terrorists are spending your money (gas for heating, conditioning, travelling, etc.).

Why not just leave the thread open, and let people have a discussion themselves. If you don't like it, just don't read it. Nobody is violating any of the rules, so just leave them be.

I second it. One of the most important issues of today and it affects everyone including those of us in HK, and you want to shut it down? I realize its off-topic in way. However if you look at the macro picture the relavancy is pervasive. Please lets keep it going or can you start a politics thread?

There are plenty of other sites where you can discuss politics and are better equipped to handle these discussions.
