Its on Lee Garden road, opposite the apple mall, next to a 7-11, couple of blocks behind Time Square (name still cracks me up because I am from NYC).
To recap, its not that good! I am a bit of an expert (have enjoyed KKD goodies in Delaware, Boston, NYC, St. Louis, Omaha and DC) and I have to say the doughnuts here are way too sweet with way too much glazing and the dough it self is too chewy! It is supposed to melt in your mouth when had right off the belt! The décor is the same and one can lose track of time staring at the life cycle of a February-sidewalk-in-Boston-like-sugar-coated round heart attack with a hole but the army of staff seemed overwhelmed! Took me 6 tries to get a nod of understanding to the phrase: box of assorted! What is the point of an all-English menu if no one behind the counter can understand English?
At the end of the day I would still go back because its better than nothing. |
